I hope you all had a great spring break, had lots of fun, and hopefully you managed to read a good book or two!
I spent a lot of my spring break working on painting some of the rooms of our house. I also went to see some friends in Houston who I hadn't seen in a very long time. I did manage to read two book last week as well. One book was a grown up novel, about a private detective and his partner working to solve a crime. It was written by J.K. Rowling, the author the Harry Potter series. However, she wrote this book under the pen name Robert Galbraith. I am also working on the audiobook version of one of next year's Bluebonnet Award candidates. It's called "Space Case" by Stuart Gibbs, and it's about a boy named Dashiell who is living on the moon with his family. The year is at least 2040 and they are living in the first settlement on the moon. I haven't finished it yet, but right now Dashiell and some other people are trying to solve the mystery of who killed one of the scientists on the colony. I have two requests for you, and you are welcome to answer either or both: 1. Tell me about something fun you did during spring break. 2. Tell me about a book you read during spring break.
